Today my post is dedicated to a fan and friend who has dedicated a set on Polyvore to me, Clay! :)
He created it thinking about an outfit for a Sunday brunch and well... The total look-set called "Fra3 Sunday day Wear" is definetely my style ;)
I love the Proenza Shouler Mini bag, the Mandalay top, the Burberry lace skirt,and Oscar de La Renta bracelet, Victoria Beckham butterfly sunglasses and the heels by Jimmy Choo!!!
He just couldn't choose anything better!

Ha creato il look ispirandosi ad un outfit per un pranzo domenicale e.... Il total-look chiamato "Fra3 Sunday day Wear" è proprio il mio stile ;)

Today I'm reviewing this top accessory, Burberry Prorsum medium tote!
I'm in love with the shape of this bag! It's so original :)
The "Dark Camel" and the "Mid Camel" are already out of stock in the official Burberry's website!
But there are plenty of colours and 2 stripes patterns!
The red one on bottom left is my favourite!
Matchable with the brand new snakeskin sandals in Blood Red!
Oggi vi parlo di un accessorio esclusivo, la Medium tote di Burberry Prorsum!
Sono innamorata della forma di questa borsa! E' così originale :)
La versione in "Dark Camel" e la "Mid Camel" sono già andate esaurite sul sito ufficiale del bramd!
Ma ci sono un sacco di colori tra cui scegliere, comprese due fantasie a strisce!
Quella rossa in fondo a destra è la mia preferita!
Coordinabile con i nuovissimi sandali in pitone nella tonalità "Blood Red"!

Met Gala 2013: Confirmed Designers

The 2013 Costume Institute Benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art or just the Met Gala has just begun. This year celebs are going to celebrate the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit so we're expexting their look to be in line with a rock-punk style and this couldn't make me happier ;)
Here are the confirmed designer choosen by the celebrities:Model Lily Cole will wear a dress by the most celebrated punk designer Vivienne Westwood, Julianne Moore will wear Balenciaga by Alexander Wang (let's remind that this is the first collaboration between Wang and the brand, the previous colaboration with Nicholas Gesquiere has ended with the last collection); Gisele Bundchen will wear Anthony Vaccarello while Miranda Kerr will wear Michael Kors, Emma stone will wear Tory Burch, the beautiful Amber Heard will wear Emilio Pucci and Anna Wintour will wear Chanel Couture.
But there's more!
The most important sponsor of the event, Moda Operandi has previously collaborated with Balmain and Nina Ricci, to mention but a few, to make the Red Carpet looks available for shopping!
But this is not enough!Some brands created some items inspired to the exhibit and to a strong punk attitude! Here are the Limited Edition heels by Charlotte Olympia (in collaboration with jewel designer Tom Binns ) created to celebrate this punk night!

Oggi è un'altra giornata fredda e piovosa in Italia e così ho deciso di postare alcune delle nuovissime proposte di Burberry per la prossima stagione fredda,
Autunno-Inverno 2013!
Qui sotto vedete i 3 pezzi che mi sono piaciuti di più:
Cappotto lungo a doppio petto con cintura in vita, borsa in pelle nera con motivo a cuori ( ma ve ne sono altre a stampa "Animal Print" degne di nota! Sia in versione daily bag che in versione clutch con lucchetto dorato!) ed infine i sandali, vero pezzo forte del trio per la bellissima pelle e l'immancabile tono "Nude" che li rende incredibilmente eleganti!
Today it's another cold and rainy day in Italy so I decided to post some of the brand-new suggestions for the next cold season, AW 13 by Burberry!
Here comes a 3-pieces-set made with the things that I liked the most:
Double peak coat with waist belt, black leather bag with a inner pouch of heart print ( but some others come with a very nice animal print! They are available both as handle bag and as clutch and the latter has a precious golden lock!); last but not least, the most interesting piece of the set, the sandals!
An ankle wrap model with golden details, plateau and a delicate nude color make them the most desirable piece of the set!

La cravatta a farfalla sembra prendere origine dai mercenari croati durante la guerra dei Trent'Anni del 1800.
I croati usavano infatti un fiocco per legare la camicia che, evidentemente,
non aveva bottone.
Questo metodo incuriosisce per primi i francesi che da semplice chiusura di camicia ne faranno diventare un’imprescindibilità dell’eleganza, spopolando inizialmente negli adiacenti paesi europei per poi raggiungere il "Paese di Colombo" e la "Muraglia cinese".
The word "Papillon" seems to have been used for the first time by Croat mercerian soldiers during "30 Years War" in the XIX century.
Croats used a ribbon to tie shirts which weren't likely to have bottons.
When this tecnique came to France everyone was surprised and that simple method became an unavoidable simbol of elegance which passed from country to country reaching "Culumbus's country" and "The Great Wall".
Il termine Papillon viene coniato appunto in Francia e sta a significare "farfalla", a ricordare la forma simile a quella dei lepidotteri.
In Italia per evitare il "Francesismo", si sono trovati, ovviamente, altri termini per dare nome al capo: da "Cravattino" a "Cravatta a farfalla", da "Farfallino" a "Farfalla"... Ma ce ne sarebbero molti altri che variano da Nord a Sud del paese ( in Sicilia e Calabria viene chiamato "Du mazzi").
The word Papillon was introduced in France, meaning Butterfly in order to remember its shape, close to the one of Lepidopterus.
Italy had introduced new terms such as "Cravattino", "Cravatta a farfalla" "Farfallino" and "Farfalla" to avoid the usage of the French word but there are plenty of other terms that change from part to part of the peninsula (For example, "Du mazzi" in Sicily and Calabria).
Anche oggi il papillon mantiene intatto il suo fascino e la sua originalità, in bilico tra simbolo d’eleganza e oggetto kitsh e demodé, spesso al collo di giovani nerd o artisti.
In questi ultimi mesi sembra essere diventato componente cardine di molti stilisti, e potrebbe diventare davvero l' accessorio "TOP" dell' anno.

Papillon still keeps its charm and its touch of originality, halfway between symbol of elegance and kitch detail, often worn by young nerds and artists.
In these months it seems that it has become top-item of many stylists and it might become the best accessory of the year.
