Balmain's shows are always a sight for sore eyes and when the catwalk is hitten by models such as Alessandra Ambrosio, Karlie Kloss and Adriana Lima the show can't be anything but a success!
Inspired by late '60s and '70s dresses created by Yves Saint Laurent, young Olivier Rousteing pays homage to the French Designer with a bright, charming and femenine collection!

I'm so glad that my outfit inspired to Rihanna has just been feautred on Polyvore's story "Rihanna Style".
Collaborating with this team never bores me and gives me the opportunity to keep in contact with other fashion-lovers ;)

An original and uberfashion look for Spring!
You can recycle your denim jacket and match it with a pair of pure yellow sandals!
For this look I've used an amazing moto jacket by Balmain, Jason Wu heels, a shoulder flap bag by MICHAEL by Michael Kors and the beautiful Dazzling True Blue Denim Hi-Shine Sport Watch by Guess.
For the makeup I suggest a yellow Bobbi Brown Balm Rinse, the Magnificent Foil Finish eyeshadow by Stila, a soft touch shadow pencil By NARS in Dark Rite and Bermondsey denim polish by Nails Inc ;)

On skin Orange Sanguine Cologne Absolue by Atelier Cologne ;)

The advertisements say it clear! Red is the new black!
From top left Dior Fall 2013,  Givenchy Fall 2013,  Carrera y Carrera ( "Tesoros del Imperio" starring Olivia Palermo) and Jimmy Choo PreFall 2013.
The suggestion of the day? When sales start remember to buy something red! You'll be wearing it this Autumn like a fashionista!
The two hot heels are by Balmain and Dolce & Gabbana PreFall, they're both on my Dream Wish List ;)

Look For Less Karolina Kurkova, Met Gala 2013!

I must admit I'm not huge fan of Karolina Kurkova but Balmain is one of my favourite brands ;)
I've tryed to create a democratic version of Karolina's outfit shown at the Met Gala 2013.
The model was wearing an one-shoulder silky dress. The upper part is decorated with flowers and jewels while the lower part has vertical black and white stripes.
I really like the mix of flowers and stripes, it breakes the monothony of the over-seen black and white of this season!
To recreate the look I choosed a silky top with black and white stripes and flowers by Mother of Pearl and a simple striped skirt by Lipsy!
The outfit is a bit more loose and perfect for who hasn't legs as long and skinny as Kurkova's!
The pointy ankle cuff heels are by Windsor, they're a must-have in and the price is very affordable! 
In shorts, I'm in love the top in set! :) It's not a very cheap item but it's nothing in comparison with Balmain ;)

Devo ammettere di non essere una grande fan di Karolina Kurkova tuttavia Balmain è uno dei miei brand preferiti ;)
Ho provato a ricreare una versione democratica del look di karolina mostrata al Met Gala 2013.
La modella stava indossando un vestito monospalla di seta. La parte superiore è decorata da fioru e gioiellimentre la parte inferiore è a righe bianche e nere verticali,
Mi piace molto il mix i fiori e strisce, rompe la monotonia del (troppo) bianco e nero di questa stagione!
Per ricreare il look ho scelto un top in seta con con righe bianche e nere orizzontali di Mother of Pearl ed una semplice gonna a strice B&W di Lipsy!
L'outfit è ha una vestibilità migliore e ottimo per chi non ha gambe lunghe e slanciate come quelle dell Kurkova!
I tacchi ankle cuff a punta sono di Windor, sono un must-have e il prezzo è molto abbordabile!
In poche parole, mi sono innamorata del top nel set! :) Non è molto economico ma è comunque nulla rispetto all'abito originale di Balmain ;)

Met Gala 2013: Confirmed Designers

The 2013 Costume Institute Benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art or just the Met Gala has just begun. This year celebs are going to celebrate the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit so we're expexting their look to be in line with a rock-punk style and this couldn't make me happier ;)
Here are the confirmed designer choosen by the celebrities:
Model Lily Cole will wear a dress by the most celebrated punk designer Vivienne Westwood, Julianne Moore will wear Balenciaga by Alexander Wang (let's remind that this is the first collaboration between Wang and the brand, the previous colaboration with Nicholas Gesquiere has ended with the last collection); Gisele Bundchen will wear Anthony Vaccarello while Miranda Kerr will wear Michael Kors, Emma stone will wear Tory Burch, the beautiful Amber Heard will wear Emilio Pucci and Anna Wintour will wear Chanel Couture.
But there's more!
The most important sponsor of the event, Moda Operandi has previously collaborated with Balmain and Nina Ricci, to mention but a few, to make the Red Carpet looks available for shopping!

 But this is not enough!
Some brands created some items inspired to the exhibit and to a strong punk attitude!                                                                                                                                                      Here are the Limited Edition heels by Charlotte Olympia (in collaboration with jewel designer Tom Binns ) created to celebrate this punk night!
