Boho by the Beach - Festival Season Inspiration

Hi! It's been a while since my last post but I'm back with a new one.

Festival Season is just around the corner and today I want to show you the amazing boho jewellery by Makana Makai!

"Founded in Summer 2015, "MAKANA" means "gift" & "MAKAI" means "By the sea/seaward" so together they bring you "GIFTS BY THE SEA".
 Makai's creations embody pure bohemian freedom & wanderlust"

Unfortunately I won't go to any  Music Festival this year (I would follow Coachella on YouTube ;(!) but If I had had the occasion I would have definetely wore a soft Kafkano or a simple tank top + denim vest and shorts.

I would also had no doubts about the accessories ;) Makai's jewels are perfect to complete the boho look!


P.S. All of their jewellery comes gift wrapped in our 100% recycled wrapping!

Off to my morning walk - Have a great start of the week!

Goodmorning everyone!
 Here I am having my morning walk on the beach (today I'm wearing a wool and extra warm sweater the pic wa taken during one of my usual morning walk a couple of months ago but the happy face and the good vibes are always the same ;)!): the best way to relax and recover the mind from the first Msc exam I took on Friday and to prepare it for the next one!

Where has my been hidden? Nowhere ;) I've been just to busy to share with you more about my blackest side ;)

Hi everyone! Here I am in Recco, Genova ;)
As you can see my hair has grown a lot during these latest months. I've never reached this lenght before and I love it!
At first I was afraid long hair could only be synonim to messy look but I took my opinion back ;)
I tend to do ponytails when going to work but at the weekend, i leave it free ;)
Gentle shampoo and drops of Argan oil are the match which allows me to keep the hair long, healthy and shiny!

No-makeup days - How I got more self-confident rediscovering my natural beauty

Goodmorning! 

It's a fact: no - make up days make us feel more self-confident and , let's say it all, a day without obstructing our pores with powders and sylicons (I carefully read every product's INCI but I confess that if something really attracts my attention I don't care too much about it!) it's a total relax for our skin.
So here I am, make up free! Make up should be an extra value for every woman but most girls and ladies feel unctractive without a coat of mascara or a slick of eyeliner.
In my personal experience, I got used to no-make up days little by little. I got tired of the thousands beauty products I collected and I wanted to rediscover  my natural beauty.
The results on self-esteem are great, what you have do it's just to give your natural face a chance! You won't regreat it! :)

I just can't have enough of her songs but I admit "West Coast" and "Shades of Cool" didn't caught my attention very much.
Brooklyn Baby is way better and once you hear the chorus you won't be able to stop singing it for a couple o yours, guaranteed ;)

Quote of the day!

I called this post "Quote of the day" but it's not such a proper title.
I should have called it "Quote of a lifetime" but it wouldn't sound as good as quote of the day.
At the age of 22 I've finally realized the importante of these words; I always give my best at everything: love as much I can, study as hard as I can, run as fast as I can...
I do believe that life should be lived at the fullest and without regrets and giving your best at everything is part of the game ;)
Using all of your energy and all of your potential is the best strategy in life to get what you want and desire but we all know that by doing so we can get just the 99% of the opera...
But what about that 1% of..." Lucky"?

 Well, in the last 5-6 years I learnt that the harder you work, the luckier you get; failures decrease and satisfactions get bigger and bigger.

 Havent' I convinced you yet?

 Read the sentence twice, make a mantra out of it and use it to achive your next goal!

It's the hit "Summertime Sadness" sang by Lana del Rey :) I told I would have recorded more songs by Lana soon ;)

The Peacock's Voice - Videogames (Lana Del Rey cover)

Hi everyone! This 2014 starts with a great piece of news: 
The Peacock's Voice has decided to upload its cover songs on Youtube! 
Isn't this a great step? I'm quite a shy girl but this idea didn't want to leave my mind! So... Here I am, this is just a preview of my Lana Del Rey tribute! 
What else can I say? This is my voice and my hands on the piano ;) 
For the very first time I can tell you what The Peacock's Voice -real voice- sounds like :)  
The quality is low, it's home recorded but I'll do something better in the following weeks...

MoroccanOil Hair Salon - My Experience

Hi everyone!
Today I want to share with you my experience with Moroccaonoil products :)
I went to the hair salon a couple of days ago and my hair definitely needed a complete treatment!

  • The first step was a scalp massage with the Oily Scalp Treatment. The hairdresser applied it with a gentle pressure and then left it on for 10 minutes. 


  • The second step was a Clarify Shampoo 

  • The third step was a Weightless Hydrating Mask I kept for another 10 mins.


  • Final step: few drops of Light Moroccanoil to finish my straight hair :)

And here is the result! Pardon my sleepy face :)


Final Considerations: The result was excellent but I wouldn't buy the products. Why? Well because even though Moroccanoil appears on every Fashion- Beauty Magazine its first three ingredients are silicone polymers! Argan oil is not the main ingredient! 
So, you can definetely find something more natural than this!

I'm happy with the result but it's not worth its high commercial price!

Flashback :)
 A couple of years ago, supertanned and supernatural, just a touch of pink gloss ;)!

Well, apart from this little memory, today I was thinking about a nice makeup to wear next Saturday and I found this supergorgeous pic of Amber Heard!

She's one of my favourite actresses and I think I'll copy her look soon! 
If  the result is good I'll record a tutorial ;)
