Review "Melted" liquid lipstick by Too Faced

Posted on 15 giugno 2016

Buonasera!

Eccomi dopo tanto con un nuovo post! ;)

JORD Wood Watches Fieldcrest series in Zebrawood & Maple - REVIEW!

Posted on 29 dicembre 2015

Hi everyone!

It's been a while since my last post but it's been a very busy period and writing here on the blog wasn't as quick as posting on Instagram and Facebook (socials on which I have been more active) however, I came back to write and share with you my last post of the year ;) a review of the amazing Fieldcrest "Zebrawood & Maple" wood watch I received from JORD!

JORD Wood Watches
Fieldcrest Series (Zebrawood & Maple) - 129 $
JORD is a brand based in the U.S.,

"... focused on creating timepieces that are modeled after a modern lifestyle. We value sutainability, efficiency and experiental living. We make our watches for people who don't just have somewhere to be, they have somewhere to go. JORD is run by artists, designers, marketers and minders. We spend our days creating, considering, arguing adn hopefully agreeing. Then we'll scrap it all for the joy of starting new. We have fun is our journey" (Source: www.woodwatches.com)

The models available on JORD's website are many and each timepiece is unique not only because of the excellent design but also because of the grain pattern which is different on each piece.

The one I received is the JORD Fieldcrest Series in "Zebrawood & Maple", a very easy-to- wear and lovely model which is also available in Green Sandalwood, Dark Sandalwood and Maple.

I must say I don't wear watches very often because I tend to use my smartphone but what I've been able to notice from the very few minutes I have been wearing my JORD woodwatch is that it's extremely lightweight and very versatile: you can easily wear it from day to night!

The first thing that surprised me when opening the box the woodwatch came with was the extreme care for details JORD dedicates not only to the watches but also to packaging: the watch comes in a wood box with the JORD logo on top and on the front low side and once opened with a gentle slide movement, the watch appears wrapped around a nice pillow. A wood medal with the letter "J" is tied to a link and can be easily removed.
Inside the box you will also fin a black soft cleaning cloth, extra clasps and the warranty card.

The stainless-steel butterfly clasp is easy to manage, you just need to fold the wood together over the clasp and press down to snap it shut and there are two push buttons on each side of the clasp that you push to release when you wish to take the watch off. Easier done than said! ;)

The Fieldcrest series is unisex and as each woodwatch from the JORD collection, you can communicate the measure of your wrist when buying your timepiece in order to have it custom fit!

Here are some detailed information anout the Fieldcrest series features:

- Scratch-resistant mineral glass

- Deployment buckle with push buttons
- Case width: 39 mm
- Case thickness: 11 mm
- Lug ends: 49 mm
- Band thickness: 20 mm
- Band length: 195 mm

The watches are splash-proof but should not be submerged in water as JORD explains in the "Finish & Care" section which appears in the website, just below the description of the Fieldcrest features.

Maintenance of the delicate wood grain is best achieved with rubbing the strap with some lemon or orange oil applied to a soft cotton clotch. The FAO section on the JORD website also advises that wood can develop a natural patina over time so you can choose to coat it with beeswax, butcher block oil or walnut oil to mantain the original finish. As you can see, despite the fact wood is a "living" material you don't need to pay extreme attention to your time piece.

Christmas is over but if you have forgotten someone important, a JORD woodwatch might be a great way to make up for it!

Worldwide shipping is always included in the price of the watch! ;)

I’ve partnered with JORD to giveaway a limited quantity of e-gift cards worth $20 each!

Mediterrean holidays on board Msc Preziosa!

Posted on 17 agosto 2015

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share with you some pics taken during my holidays on board Msc Preziosa!
Most people think that cruise holidays are most suitable to families or couples looking for relaxation but I can confirm that this kind of holiday is perfect for teens and young people too as it is offers the opportunity to visit several cities (and countries) in very little time and to have an amazing time on board.
On board Msc Preziosa in particular you can't get bored: gym, spa, jacuzzis, pools, theater, Formula 1 simulator, 4D cinema are just some of the activities MSC has organized for its guests and let me say that a week cruising the Mediterrean is an unique experience to try at least once in life! :)

Designer of the month - Johanna Ortiz!

Posted on 11 agosto 2015

Hi there!

Today I'm back with my usual post "designer of the month"!

This month I've choosen Johanna Ortiz,

"...Colombian designer on everyone’s radar who believes showing off your shoulders and neck is sexier than a tight dress. Her recent rise to fame can be credited to a particular off-the-shoulder top that has since become her signature. For Resort the Colombian designer (and name on everyone's lips) plays up her trademark femininity with ruffled blouses and pleated orchid-print dresses. Each silhouette is expertly crafted to accentuate the shoulders and waist, never leaving aside that trademark sexy twist"(ModaOperandi)

One of my latest Polyvore sets including  one of Ortiz's most amazing creations: the "Poppy" dress!

Triangl bikini, yes or no?

Posted on 8 luglio 2015

Hi everyone,
I'm back with a new post and a question for you!

Summer Ready
TRIANGL Bikini

What do you think of Triangl bikinis? Do you like them?

I think that both the models and the colors Triangl produce are a bit too bold and I don't like them too much. I would prefer something softer like...
This bikini (see below) by River Island!

The model is similar to the most popular produced by Triangl but the shade is definetely more delicate and sophisticates, plus, it suits to both blondies and brunettes ;)

RIVER ISLAND Softer Alternative ;)

Now that I've shown you my opinion, what's yours? Which one is better? :)

Holiday planning: Greece, Turkey!

Relax di fra3 contenente wall signs

Hi everyone!

Have you already planned your holidays? :) I haven't but me and my boyfriend have been thinking of visiting Istanbul, Olympia and Izmir (the ancient Smirne).

I have never been to Greece and Turkey and I'm very excited about visiting these places, tasting their local dishes and discover their cultures!

Sea in Greece is a dream for the eyes and I would like to buy a special swimsuit for the beach days we would spend there; this one in the set is by Tomas Maier and has a vintage look yet so fashionable. It would be amazing to use it as a top bandeau  for the happy hour  paired with a long brown skirt ;)
Stuart Weitzman heels would be the perfect choice to complete the look: classy and charming as well as Alexander Wang sunnies which would both protect the eyes from the hot sun and add a glamourous touch.
On the hair, Bumble & Bumble "Creme de Coco" hair conditioner would help the hair recover from the stress of the sun and prevent damages; after drying, a small amount of Shu Uemura "Art of Hair Essence Absolue Cream Camelia" will leave the hair a super glossy finish as well as a delicate and irresistable scent.
"Sun Beam" by Benefit Cosmetics highlights the cheekbones and enhance the face tan while "Frangipani Body Shimmering Oil" by Lucy B and Alterna "Bamboo Smooth Kendi Dry Oil mist" hidrate the skin after sunbathing and make it glow for hours.
On the nails a golden shimmer with Butter London nail polish in "Marbs" would complete the look!
