I love how Polyvore allows us to create both fashion and art sets! But what about mixing the 2 things together? :)

Here is my idea! I've used a Peter Pilotto print as a backgroung and placed the latest Nicholas Kirkwood flats from the SS14 Collection and a chic Saint Laurent bag!

What about the result? I'm completely satisfied :)

Nicholas Kirkwood for Atelier Swarovski

Avete mai sentito parlare di Nicholas Kirkwood? Sono sicura che la risposta di tutte/i voi lettori e lettrici fashion-addicted sia sì!
E' un designer di scarpe inglese che è diventato famoso per le sue creazioni che riuniscono tradizione e modernità.
Rodarte, Peter Pilotoo e Erdem sono solo alcuni dei nomi di coloro che hanno collaborato con lui per i loro fashion show!
Tra il 2011 ed il 2012 il designer ha aperto il suo primo store a Londra, seguito rapidamente dal suo secondo a New York.
Kirkwood descrive il suo lavoro così:
"Faccio creazioni per una donna sofisticata con un implicita attrazione per il lusso e che ha una chiara visione di se stessa e del suo stile personale".
Adoro le sue scarpe, alcune sono vere sculture e proprio per questo Kirkwood è uno dei talenti più ricercati dalla comunità di designer!
La novità è che per questa Primavera-Estate 2013 ha collaborato per la seconda volta con Atelier Swarovski.
Questa volta la collezione include cristalli, perle e vernici dai colori vivaci, in ematite, zircone blu e rosa chiaro.
In questo set potete vedere sia alcuni dei gioielli per Swarovski sia alcune delle sue scarpe della collezione Primavera-Estate 2013!

Ever heard of Nicholas Kirkwood? I'm pretty sure the answer of you fashion-addicted readers is yes!
He is a British shoe designer who has become famous for the mix of tradion and modernity of his creations.
Rodarte, Peter Pilotoo and Erdem are just a few names of those who have collaborated with him for their fashion shows!
2011/12 saw the designer open his first store in London, quickly followed by his second in New York.
Kirkwood describes his work with these words:
"I design for a sophisticated woman with an implicit understanding of luxury who has a strong defined vision of herself and her personal style."
I love his shoes, some of them are real sculptures and this is the reaon why he is one of the most sought after talents within the design community!
The news is that this Spring-Summer 2013, Kirkwood made his second collection for Atelier Swarovski!
This time it includes brightly coloured crystal pearls and enamel, in Jet Hematite, Blue Zircon and Light Rose.
In this set you can see both the items for Swaroski and for its personal shoes collection for this season!

The Shorts Story

Il Coachella Music Festival inizierà tra pochi giorni e per questo ho deciso di scrivere un post riguardo al capo più indossato dalle ragazze che vi partecipano ogni anno,
gli shorts!
Qui in Italia il tempo non ci sta offrendo l'opportunità di indossarli senza calze e così ho creato 3 outfit che permettono di mostrare le gambe senza congelare ;)!
Il primo ed il secondo outfit possono essere completati infatti con un paio di collant scure mentre l'ultimo è un pò più leggero ed è stato pensato per essere indossato senza collant.
Gli shorts di pelle sono i più difficili da indossare. Se abbinati male possono diventare molto volgari, tuttavia se aggiungete un tocco di pizzo e coprite bene la parte superiore del corpo, il rischio diminuisce notevolmente ;)
Gli shorts di pailettes attirano moltissimo l'attenzione, sono per questo perfetti per le feste e permettono un pò più di libertà di scelta per il resto del look, rispetto a quelli di pelle.
E per finire gli ultimi, gli shorts floreali! I pantaloni e shorts a fantasia sono i capi hot della stagione! Provate ad indossare gli shorts con top o bluse trasparenti o con effetto vedo-non vedo, sarete uno schianto!

The Coachella Music Festival starts in a few days and I've decided to write a post about the most popular piece of cloth worn by the girls who will be there, shorts!
Here in Italy the weather doesn't give us the chance to wear them without stockings so I've just created 3 different outfits that give you the opportunity to show your legs without freezing ;)!
The first and the second outfit can be completed with sheer stockings while the last one is a bit more "fresh" and it's thought to be worn without any stockings.
Leather shorts are the most difficult to wear! It takes very little to appear cheap, but if you add a bit of lace and you cover most of the skin in the upper part of your body, the risk decreases a lot ;)
Sequined shorts catches everyone's attention, they're perfect for parties and they give you a bit more freedom than the leather ones!
And now the last ones, floral shorts! Printed pants and shorts are the hot items of the season! Try to wear them with sheer tops or blouses, you'll look stunning!
