Some fashion ideas and a bit inspiration for your Prom night!
Here in Italy we don't have Proms after graduating but it's something we love to read in books and to watch in movies.
I choosed a turquoise colour (I remember that one of my schoolmates who went to California to study wore a similar dress for her Prom some years ago!) an amazing peplum dress by Notte by Marchesa, Le Silla platform sandals and an envelope clutch by Dareen Hakim. 
I love updos with a small braid which frames the face :) The hair must be perfect so I suggest to use good products for the styling (The Bed Head line by Tibi is amazing ;)!) and some silver clips with swarovski to have some points of light!
The make up should be natural, a soft bronze smokey eyes and a lot of mascara :)
To complete the look, Essie nail laquer and a goldt urquoise bangle by Juicy Couture :)  

Avete mai sentito parlare di Nicholas Kirkwood? Sono sicura che la risposta di tutte/i voi lettori e lettrici fashion-addicted sia sì!
E' un designer di scarpe inglese che è diventato famoso per le sue creazioni che riuniscono tradizione e modernità.
Rodarte, Peter Pilotoo e Erdem sono solo alcuni dei nomi di coloro che hanno collaborato con lui per i loro fashion show!
Tra il 2011 ed il 2012 il designer ha aperto il suo primo store a Londra, seguito rapidamente dal suo secondo a New York.
Kirkwood descrive il suo lavoro così:
"Faccio creazioni per una donna sofisticata con un implicita attrazione per il lusso e che ha una chiara visione di se stessa e del suo stile personale".
Adoro le sue scarpe, alcune sono vere sculture e proprio per questo Kirkwood è  uno dei talenti più ricercati dalla comunità di designer!
La novità è che per questa Primavera-Estate 2013 ha collaborato per la seconda volta con Atelier Swarovski.
Questa volta la collezione include cristalli, perle e vernici dai colori vivaci, in ematite, zircone blu e rosa chiaro.

Ever heard of Nicholas Kirkwood? I'm pretty sure the answer of you fashion-addicted readers is yes!
He is a British shoe designer who has become famous for the mix of tradion and modernity of his creations.
Rodarte, Peter Pilotoo and Erdem are just a few names of those who have collaborated with him for their fashion shows!
2011/12 saw the designer open his first store in London, quickly followed by his second in New York.
Kirkwood describes his work with these words: 
"I design for a sophisticated woman with an implicit understanding of luxury who has a strong defined vision of herself and her personal style."
I love his shoes, some of them are real sculptures and this is the reaon why he is one of the most sought after talents within the design community!
The news is that this Spring-Summer 2013, Kirkwood made his second collection for Atelier Swarovski!
This time it includes brightly coloured crystal pearls and enamel, in Jet Hematite, Blue Zircon and Light Rose.
In this set you can see both the items for Swaroski and for its personal shoes collection for this season!

Aprile significa fiorture, sole e risveglio!
Il sole ci fa sentire bene e cosa c'è di meglio di iniziare la giornata con una golosa colazione?
Ispirato a Parigi e alle tonalità dei suoi tipici macarones azzurri, questo set è dedicato al colore pastello più delicato, l'azzurro!
Il vestito di H&M è un capo molto abbordabile e che consiglio almeno di provare! 
La sua texture si adatta perfettamente alla parte superiore del corpo mentre, sotto la vita, la sfasatura lo rende in grado di valorizzare ogni tipo di figura!
I sandali di Charlotte Olympia sono semplicemente perfetti! Sono i sandali estivi da sogno ed hanno un ricamo bianco con la scritta "Paris" sul listino sopra le dita. 
Con un tacco ta 15cm ed un platform da 3cm, questi tacchi sono una vera e propria ode all'universo parigino!
Infine, per completare il look pastello, scegliete una tonalità simile alle scarpe per le vostre unghie, come ad esempio quella più a destra nel set di Butter!

Inspired by Paris and by the shade of the blue macarones this set is dedicated to the most delicate pastel color, light blue!
The H&M dress is a very effordable item and I suggest you at least to try it! 
Its jersey texture perfectly fits the upper part of your body and it's a bit flare at the end so that it can emphasize every body shape!
Charlotte Olympia's sandals are simply perfect. They're the fabulous summer sandal with white, Paris embroidery on each toe. With a heel of 6 inches and a platform of 1.5 inch, these shoes are a ode to all things Parisian!
To complete the pastel-look choose a turquoise nail laquer in a shade close to the one of the shoes, like the one on the right of the set by Butter!

Questo nuovo set è stato ispirato dal rossetto Chanel Rouge Coco Shine sponsorizzato da Polyvore.
L'abito attillato di Diane Von Fustenberg è perfetto con i nuovi sandali platform giallo pallido di Miu Miu!
Miglior scelta per le unghie? Ricordate lo smalto Chanel 577 "Mimosa"?
Faceva parte dell'edizione limitata di Chanel della primavera scorsa ma è tuttora uno dei miei smalti gialli preferiti.
Ultimo consiglio: se preferite un finish vellutato e non lucido per le vostre labbra date un occhiata alla collezione make up Chanel Printemps Précieux!
Il rossetto Rouge Allure Velvet è proposto in corallo con il numero 42 "La Favorite".

The Diane Von Fustenberg shrifted dress is perfect with the brand-new Miu Miu pale yellow platform sandals!
Best choice for the nails? Remember Chanel Nail Laquer 577 "Mimosa"?
It was last year's Chanel limited edition but it is still one of my favourite yellow nail polishes.
Last piece od advice: if you prefer a velvet finish on your lips take a look at the Chanel Printemps Précieux Make up Collection!

Per farli risaltare abbinateli a top in pizzo e colori neutri.
La borsa di Meredith Mendell ed i sandali See by Chloé esprimono il concetto, sono la perfetta coppia di accessori fluo!
Per completare il look aggiungete un paio di jeans ultra skinny in tonalità pesca e un paio di occhiali da sole a specchio sempre sull'arancione!

Meredith Wendell's bag and See by Chloé's sandals do express the concept, they are the perfect fluo accessory couple!
To complete the look add a pair of ultra skinny jeans in peach and a pair of mirror sunnies with orange lens!

Ugg®Australia è diventato famoso con i suoi famosi stivaletti ma non tutti sanno che il brand crea anche sandali, zeppe e sneakers!
Per questa Primavera/Estate il marchio ha preso ispirazione da Marrakech, la città del Marocco sinonimo di sole, colori vivi e tipiche stampe a motivi.
Mi piacciono molto le zeppe del modello "Lucianna" (in bianco e blu) e le sneakers in canvas "Hally" in arancione.

Ugg®Australia has become famous with his well-known boots but not everyone knows that the brand creates sandals, wedges and sneakers as well!
For this Spring/Summer collection the brand took inspiration from Marrakesh.
The Moroccan city is synonim of sun, bright colours and deco design!
I particularly love the "Lucianna" wedges (in white & blue) and "Hally" canvas sneakers in orange.
